An introduction to a series of webinars offering insights and guidance to procurement professionals to enable them to procure effectively from small businesses.  In the South African landscape, procurement comes with unique challenges that need to be anticipated and prepared for so that contracts are fulfilled and so that small business survives in this crippling economy.

Using small suppliers is often counterintuitive to procurement professionals who have been taught that best practice is to consolidate, aggregate, and leverage.  This introductory session is designed to open procurement professionals' minds to managing small suppliers.  It is presented within the context of a typical procurement process in order to easily embed the concepts.
